Well traveled? No. But Ryan has taken the time to frequently leave the house and explore his state of Oregon as well as most of the West Coast even making it into the Pacific and out to Hawaii. Beyond the U.S., he's made it to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Well traveled? He wishes. But even in a day trip to one of Oregon's swimming holes or hot springs, or to a Willamette Valley farm or the rugged coast there's always something to see and enjoy. Blessed with living in a state as varied as Oregon only adds to the travel disease and a hope that he can see the rest of the world at such a level.
Well traveled? Maybe one day. But for now read on to join in on the travels of one man through a small slice of the globe, meeting people who also seem to find out more about themselves and their homes by picking up and moving for the day, week, month or year, sharing memories that mold and make someone. Maybe Ryan Purkey will never be well traveled, but he always hopes that he's traveled well.
